The Estonian House at 2375 Queen Street East is a 4 storey low-rise in the eastern end of the Beaches neighbourhood. There are 33 two and three bedroom units, each having two exposures. This building was designed by an Estonian architect, Viktor Tretjakewitsch, in the 1950s during the post-war housing shortage. Since its retro.t as condos, it still maintains a mid-century modern Baltic styling quite unique in the area.
Built on a hill overlooking the scenic 1930s deco filtration plant and the lake, the Estonian House is close to the streetcar and the shops on Queen Street, Fox Theatre and beach boardwalk.
